72-year-old Clarence White who got fed up of his wife complaining about his inability to satisfy her sexually or financially ended up pulling the trigger on her. The man is said to have grabbed a 22-caliber handgun and shot his much-younger wife in the face at their Bronx home on Thursday morning. Sources told the New York Daily News that the shooting followed an argument between White and his 28-year-old wife over her growing dissatisfaction with his inability to satisfy her financially or sexually. Responding officers who were called to the scene found Dominique White around 8:40 a.m. sitting on the floor in a hallway of their home on Glebe Ave. in Parkchester.

According to the girl's father, who is a furniture maker, Uchechukwu met him this morning at home and hinted him about a certain business he needed both of them to execute... After 64 days in captivity, the six abducted pupils of the Lagos State Model College, Igbonla, Epe, regained their freedom on Friday. Although details of their release are still sketchy, punch learnt the kids were released in Ajakpa Community in Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State. A senior police officer said the children had been moved to the Ondo State Police Command headquarters in Akure. It was gathered that no ransom was paid before the victims were released.

Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh, 58, a member of the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition, made the comments during a debate on domestic violence in the national parliament. Malaysia is currently reviewing laws existing laws on domestic abuse, which rights activists hope will offer more protection to women. However, Mr Che argued that men suffered more than women in married relationships as they were not subjected to mere physical abuse. “Men are generally physically stronger than women so they are subjected to emotional and psychological abuse, which is even worse. This includes having a wife who denies conjugal rights to her husband or one who constantly nags,” he said.

A Utah man, Kenneth Manzanares, 39, killed his wife, Kristy Manzanares, 39, aboard an Alaska cruise and told an acquaintance who later walked into the couple's blood-splattered room that he did it because she kept laughing at him in front of their three children, the FBI said in documents released Thursday afternoon.  Manzanares was charged with murder after he was found with blood on his hands and clothes and blood spread throughout the cabin on the Princess Cruises ship Tuesday night, according to a criminal complaint by FBI Special Agent Michael L. Watson.
