Kanye West has already made moves in the fashion industry, and now the musician is getting ready to take over your beauty routine. According to a report, Kanye has filed the necessary legal documents to launch his own cosmetics brand.
The line, which is set to include products such as makeup, lotions and perfumes, will reportedly be named DONDA after Kanye's late mother, Donda West, who passed away in 2007.
Five years ago, he entered the world of high fashion with his now now-defunct DONDA line, for which he was mentored by Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci. In other words, he's been pretty transparent about his intentions to make DONDA into a comprehensive lifestyle brand and even expand it into the spheres of tech, security, energy, and medical research.
"Here is my Donda chart that I wrote 4 years ago that everyone laughed at…" Kanye wrote on Twitter last year, along with an organizational chart of his eventual goals for DONDA's reach.
This isn't the first time that the rapper has honored his mom with one of his creations.
